Dan Vávra's journey as a designer began in Illusion Softworks standing behind Hidden and Dangerous where he helped with textures. Dan Vávra became the most famous thanks to Mafia 1, which in that times celebrated such a huge success and the game is well-known nowadays in the Czech Republic, Russia, Germany and Poland.
There is plenty of information you can hear in the documentary which moved the designer to lead designer and the thoughts how it was going to be easy to create Mafia for placing some figures and cars in the world where the plot takes place. The documentary also tells the story about establishing the studio and emotions which accompanied funding the development. The most important investor became Zdeněk Bakala who has provided financial resources to Warhorse Studios to continue with the development, but also he was a man who could quit the project in a few seconds.
