The year of the Mammoth is coming to an end, which means that Ben Brode from Blizzard introduce players a new season that will be The Year of the Raven. With the new year, the older expansions, along with some Classic Classic cards, will move to a wild format and we will be able to look forward for a new expansion and much more.
Let's start with the expansions, in 2018 there will be three. The first expansion will come with the end of The Mammoth year. The Wild format will expand the Whispers of the Old Gods, One Night in Karazhan and Mean Streets of Gadgetzan. In addition to these expansions, the Ice Block, Coldlight Oracle and Molten Giant will lose the standard mode. These three cards will go to the so-called Hall of Fame if you own the cards, you will get full price of the dust for them and you will not have to disenchant them.
Each expansion this year will include 130+ cards and some short story mode. What kind of expansion we do not know, we can only speculate from the enclosed teaser.
Custom tournaments are another new feature that comes to live servers. Players will then be able to keep their tournaments where they can measure their strengths within the community. This element wished the players a long time, since summer is in beta and now finally gets to live servers.
The latest novelty is a new hero for Druid and it's Lunara. You can get this heroic portrait completely free for 10 wins in standard format. Daily quests will be more easier and will reward players with more gold.
More information of the upcoming Blizzard expansion will be revealed in the coming days, we will keep you up to date on our site.
