The last part of the Assassin's Creed series named Origins has brought the brand a great success. The game got the necessary restart and became a hit as it was at the beginning of the series. The continuation was certain before the release of Origins. But we didn't know what direction the game would play. The developers after positive feedback, let themselves be heard that the annual pause of Assassin's Creed series was beneficial to the brand and that they would like to leave the polls in the upcoming work too.
However, the latest information flowing through the internet speaks differently. Jeux Video Live publishes a licensed strip showing two things, the first one that the new Assassin game will be named Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and the second that the game will take a place in Greece. In addition, Kotaku has supported this information with more informations, the game will bring a whole new game mechanism and new main hero, with the release is probably scheduled to November this year for PC and PS4, XONE.
UPDATE: Since the yesterday's leak practically confirmed the new episode, Ubisoft has decided to wait no more and officially announced the new game called Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. At the same time, it has come with a short teaser confirming the game will be set in Greece with Spartan-style characters. More info is coming during this year's E3 2018 when the game is fully revealed. The short teaser is available below.
