During the last week, we informed you that Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey would get a new DLC called Legacy of the First Blade on Tuesday. Only the first episode called Hunted will be released while the others will come during the next year. In any case, when we came with the original article, we did not know exactly what the new DLC would give us but that changed today. The developers have come with a lot of new information.

Today, Ubisoft revealed a new trailer presenting much new information about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey DLC called Legacy of the First Blade. Thanks to that, we’ve just learned that the new DLC won’t tell us anything from the main storyline because we will follow a completely different story. We will travel to Macedonia where we will meet the very first assassin in the history who was a man called Darius and who was the first one that started using the legendary hidden blade. Together with Darius, the player will have to face a new group of masked enemies from Persia but also complete several side-quests.

Except for the story-related missions, the expansion will offer an increase of the maximum level of the main character to 70 but will also unlock a new ability called “Death Veil”. When acquiring this ability, you will be able to stealth kill an enemy whose body will then vanish so no evidence will be left after your actions. All these new features are summarized in the new video below so we highly recommend you to check it out. Finally, let us just remind you that starting the new DLC requires the player to reach the level of at least 28 and to complete the seventh chapter of the main storyline.

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
