When Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was announced for the first time in 2014, there was nothing said about any type of exclusivity. Yet, the game was released in 2017 only on Windows and PlayStation 4 and when there was no other version announced even after half a year, it seemed that the game would remain PS4 exclusive when talking about consoles. But according to newest information, we now know that things are completely different.
During past days, several games have been rated by various rating organizations and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice from Ninja Theory was no exception. Two independent rating organizations have included an Xbox One version of this successful game into their databases. Firstly, the game was rated by the Australian Classification board and shortly after that also by the Taiwan Game Software Rating Information board.
Thanks to these two indices, we can be now nearly sure that the Xbox One version is currently under the development which is definitely good news for many owners of the Microsoft’s console. We just don’t know if the game is currently nearly finished or if the development has just started and we will have to wait for it a bit longer. Hopefully, we will get the answers soon and Ninja Theory will come up with any official announcement.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was released last year on PlayStation 4 and Windows while the sales were unexpectedly high and after three months from the release, more than half a million of the copies were sold worldwide.
