Even though the second episode of popular Star Wars: Battlefront was released less than a week ago, we’ve already heard about it more than we expected and more than some of us wanted to hear. Of course, we’re talking about the problem with microtransactions and loot boxes which obviously became very popular during last days. But let’s focus on the first official update which is not connected to the mentioned problem and solves different problems which players have recently reported.
“This first patch is specifically focused on issues we found during the later stage of development. (...) We have also made major improvements to our games stability and performance across all platforms to make the gameplay experience better for everyone. (...) Rest assured, we will focus strongly on improving the game based on the feedback we get from everyone in our community in our upcoming patches. So, stay tuned, and if you have the time to give us your feedback on our official forums, we really appreciate it.”
The patch 0.2 fixed the problem which caused that the game froze at certain point if player had paused the game. Moreover, a bug causing the Rey’s lightsabre to disappear from time to time is fixed as well. And on top of that, the developers also solved the issue where saved data were deleted if player started a new game without a controller being connected.
We just hope that the developers will be so precise also in the future and that they will solve each bug as soon as possible so all the players can enjoy the game without any restrictions. To see the complete list of all the changes, visit the official blog site of the game.
