It’s no secret that Nintendo is currently hosting quite a big event Nintendo Direct in Japan while this action always gives us some new interesting information about Nintendo consoles. The same happened today so we’re here with an interesting article about Nintendo Switch and AC: Odyssey.
Nintendo has announced that the upcoming anticipated game Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey from Ubisoft will be surprisingly released also on Nintendo Switch! However, nothing is as it might seem when you read only the previous sentence. Physically, the game won’t run on Switch (logically, the performance is not high enough) but it will be possible to control it remotely via your Switch thanks to a cloud service so the feeling of playing it directly will be very authentic. It will be possible to buy the “full version” with two years access or to pay a daily rate.
The second important thing is that this version will be available only in Japan and nowhere else. That’s, of course, pretty shame but who knows, the distribution might spread a bit more in the future. Anyway, it’s great to see that Nintendo is doing a very good job, expands its console and offers an unusual experience of playing big AAA games also on handhelds.
