It's been a year since a subtle game called Northgard saw the light of the world. Northgad was announced in early acces at Steam. Developers from Shiro Games have officially confirmed that Northgard's will leave early acces and will be launched as a full game. Launch is scheduled for 7 March 2018. It is important to note that in the early acces Shiro games sold more than 500,000 copies and the numbers are still growing. This is a great success for a small independent gaming studio. There is nothing to be amazed about, the game is receiving a very positive evaluation.

If you do not even know what to expect from this game and would like to know at least the basic info, the following lines will be targeted to you. Northgard is a RTS, a real time strategy that is based on Nordic mythology. You will be in charge of the clan that you have to bring to glory and victory. In most games you get to conquer the enemy, but here Northgard is extraordinary and completely different. You can win by the favor of the gods, the good financial situation, or make a mythical weapon. These gameplay options offer completely new gaming styles, making it much more engaging than a regular game. Besides animals, monsters and other clans, your obstacle to win will be a weather. In game is a seasonal weather, and with the advent of winter, the real fight for survival is real, the biggest problem you can certainly see is food in this period. This basic information is my personal knowledge, since I myself tested the game six months ago and I really enjoyed it very much.

In Northgard you can play against AI or other players. What's more important is, that game will include a campaign which will contain 11 chapters and is name of this campaign is Rig's saga. The game will take you to the events that will take place in past, and you will play as viking Riga, who wants to avenge fathers dead and stolen Regal's horn. These unfortunate events are caused by thief Hagen. But while traveling northwest, Rig will realize that the events of the past will have far greater consequences than the wealth of one thief.

If you are interested in the game, you can buy it on Steam for 27.99 Euro, which is definitely a nice price for such a great and original game.
