Telltale Games is primarily known for their successful and unique episodic games which were able to draw you into the plot, and you had to do clear decisions within a few seconds how to solve out a specific situation. Even some decisions didn't have a huge impact on the game in general, the writers of the stories deserve awards. Among the most tremendous titles belong titles like The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones. After the fall of the studio stand insurmountable challenges which couldn't be ignored any more and earlier in the morning most of the employees left the studio. The last 25 employees would have to meet obligations to the board and face the responsibilities, and it wouldn't be feasible in long term.
CEO, Pete Hawley made a statement about why the studio ended development and bankruptcy occurred. Shortly:
"We had been looking for new opportunities but our time ran out. We published the tremendous titles with high positive feedback, but not in the finance aspect. We bid our colleagues farewell who spread out our brand of storytelling across the game industry."
