2K Games states, that layoffs will not have a significant influence, at this moment, on developing games. The question is if there is even a game which is being in development.
2K Games confirmed together with Kotaku that studio Hangar 13 layoffs employees from the reason of wasting resources on long-term projects. We also know information that layoffs will not have a big impact on abilities of the teams to create and deliver products which are in development right now.
"We never said it is pleasant to layoff so, we are looking for opportunities to offer ex-employees throughout the entire organization."
As we know, Mafia 3 took a place in 1960’ when every minority, when dark-skinned people or Hispanian were tyrannized and had to face attacks and offensives. The story of Mafia 3 was not intended as a bad story but graphic interface did not help the game even repetitive and non-depth quests.
Even though, the game was unique one in the series, Take-Two announced that in the second quarter of fiscal year 2017, 4,5 million units were sold.
