A Way Out from the Swedish studio Hazelight is out for only a bit more than three weeks but it already addressed a lot of players and it also received great scores in most of the released reviews. And now, the developers analysed the statistics of the game’s sales and they found out that the game is very successful.

Based on the last released statistics, it looks like A Way Out might be able to even overcome the success of the previous Hazelight’s game called Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons which was the first bigger game released by the Swedish studio. The developers have just mentioned that the game had managed to record more than a million copies sold in only first two weeks after the release of the game which is definitely great news!

On top of that, Josef Fares, the game’s director, commented the whole situation because he realized that you need only one copy to play the co-op mode in two players even when playing online. This means that the game was already played by at least 2 million players and this sounds like a huge number. So, it’s just a question how big the overall sales will be in the end.

A Way Out is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.
