Stunlock studios in Sweden are already a well-known in the development of MOBA arena games, as it stands behind the release of the great Bloodline Champions. What is it about?

This is MOBA game, which means that the game promises action packed duels between teams of two to three players in more or less small space - in the arena. At the moment, you can choose from 22 heroes, each of which has different abilities and each is special in something. Heroes are divided into certain groups, namely: Melee - Heroes with melee attacks, Ranged - heroes with ranged attack, and Supports - a support group that usually has the task of keeping others alive. As far as matches are concerned, it is a quick action because each match is divided into 3 rounds of two minutes. Once the timeout has elapsed, the arena will begin to reduce due to the "fog" that hurts you, so it's not good to enter it. Instead of mana, there is the so-called Energy Bar, which is charged by the player with an autoattack. This energy will then allow you to cast more powerful spells and thereby bring the enemy team virtually to madness and to you so much desired victory.

Another important thing is "rites", cards that you can choose before the match. These cards represent improvements to your spells but can not be changed during the match.

Individual heroes can be leveled up, which means that the more hero you play, the higher the level. Each level is then rewarded, either in the form of battlegolds, tokens or chests.

Game Modes

Game modes are quite simple. Either you can drop into Casual mode (normal), where you can try freshly purchased heroes or just train your skills. Another mode is Competitive, which shows you the rank you are. Ranks are split from Bronze through Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond to the Grand Challenger. Winning the game adds points to you, which makes you rising up the ladder and losing the points makes you fall.

If you are more serious about missing objects in the game, do not worry, developers have also prepared the Battlegrounds mode. This is about fulfilling the tasks each team must accomplish in order to unlock the enemy base and destroy it. However, in Battlegrounds you can not play rated games.

Finally, there is a Private Mode where you can choose match rules or play against computer-controlled enemies

An important part of the game is also an add-on, including clothing, weapons, poses, or even a lot of mounts. These add-ons are unlockable from chests that you receive for leveling your account or individual heroes. There is also the possibility to unlock some of the things thanks to the tokens or battle golds.

Conclusion

The fundamental difference from other and similar games is that Battlerite puts more emphasis on the ability of the player himself. It attracts players who are based on winnings purely thanks to the skill and not because someone has bought improvements. Because of fast action, it is a short-time game, so do not worry that you will not make it for bus that leaves in 20 minutes.

The free to play form also attracts players around the world, numbers of players are constantly growing. Are we going to see professional scenes in Battlerite next year?
