It’s been just a couple of months since Ian Bell surprised all the players when he announced that the studio Slightly Mad was preparing its own gaming console Mad Box that would be the most powerful console ever built. Soon after that, we also got some new initial concepts of the console’s design but as we now already know, the design is definitely not the final one.

Ian Bell, CEO of Slightly Mad Studios, has posted a new Tweet with a brand-new and completely reworked design of the upcoming console Mad Box. As we can see, the design was drastically changed and the current version looks definitely very attractive. According to Ian, the developers tried to change it based on numerous comments of all the fans who started to post many and many comments immediately after the initial design had been revealed. The current version contains a nice logo of the console and it also allows you to use it vertically but the most interesting element is a front display popping out not only new messages and notifications but also showing the game which the player is currently playing.

And exactly the last-mentioned feature attracted a lot of attention as well. The art concept of the new design contains a message that the game “Project Cars Revolution” is currently being played so naturally, all the fans started to immediately ask whether the studio is working on a new Project Cars game being released together with the launch of the console. And since Ian Bell replied that “it just might be”, he definitely teased a lot. But how this whole situation will end up, that’s probably something that no one knows for now…it’s currently still just a concept so we just need to wait to see more about the console.
