Despite the fact there’s still more than a week left until the end of the month, Microsoft has decided to (maybe accidentally) announce free games available for Xbox Live Gold members in May. Originally, there was nothing mentioned on the official Microsoft blog but on the YouTube channel, a typical video announcing all the games was already released. Thus, it seems like the announcement was not planned to be revealed so early but in any case, here are the free games for the next month.
On Xbox One, players can look forward to playing a nice sports game called Super Mega Baseball 2 and developed by Metalhead Software while in the middle of the month, another one, more interesting and more popular game, will be added. It’s a stealth action game Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain from Kojima Productions.
Compared to that, owners of Xbox 360 will obtain a co-op arcade game Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage from M2 at the beginning of May and on 16th May, an action shooter Vanquish from a Japanese studio PlatinumGames will be a part of the offer as well. As always, both these games will be playable also on Xbox One thanks to the Backward Compatibility.
If you want to learn more about the above-mentioned games and you want to know which games you will get for free, then check out the Microsoft’s video below which introduces and summarizes all the games just in two minutes. How do you feel about the offer?
