Nintendo has recently released plenty of information about sales in Japan, total sales worldwide and now we can hear about Switch which is the fastest-selling console in U.S. history. Nintendo Switch surpassed its factory rival Nintendo Wii.

"Home console which can be taken everywhere the players go was released on 3rd March 2017 and within ten months 4.8 million units have been sold.. The numbers come from Nintendo inside figures."

Nintendo stated: "It is the highest sales number of home consoles in history of USA within first 10 months. Even Nintendo Wii console was surpassed which had been holding the similar record of sold units for the same time.

It is going to be hard time for Nintendo what was more popular in 2017, hardware or software? Hand in hand, Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild games helped to Switches' sales.

"In USA, more than 60 percent Nintendo Switch owners also own Super Mario Odyssey and over 55 percent of players own The Legend of Zelda: breath of the Wild game." Nintendo stated.

"Switch has not been selling only because these two games, but it is necessary to point out, that these games have best ranking in the history"
