The first episode of the unforgettable series Devil May Cry was released already in 2001 on PlayStation 2 and it was an absolute hit which made the whole series extremely popular and which inspired many other games of the similar genre. Due to that, it made perfect sense when this game was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC some time ago together with the second and the third episode as a so-called HD Collection. Now, the game is obviously expanding even more. Today via its official Twitter account, Capcom announced that its popular game Devil May Cry would be released also on Switch already during the summer.
This means we can look forward to enjoying a great experience but at the same time, it’s kind of weird that only the first episode is released and not the whole HD Collection as in the case of other “current-gen” platforms. It simply seems that Capcom is monitoring how popular the game will be and if this strategy works well, then it might come also with the remaining episodes. Thus, if you’re a fan of the series, you should definitely buy one copy for yourself. The new Tweet, which announces the Switch version of the game, is available below.
