The fact that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a world-hit is totally obvious and undoubtable. Thanks to that, the game was released in several remastered versions including the VR version. Even more interesting and kind of funny version is the one which supports the voice companion Alexa from Amazon leading to a possibility to play the game even on smart toilets supporting the mentioned software.
But why so many versions? The answer is actually quite simple. Skyrim is currently still so popular that millions of fans all over the world are still playing it while on Steam, the game is the 38th most played game. Thus, it’s obvious Bethesda has no plans to stop releasing the game and lose some money. As the company itself stated, there was no reason to stop supporting the game until Skyrim was played by so many players.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
