The name Shaun Escayg is tightly connected to Naughty Dog. This writer joined the studio seven years ago and he immediately started to work on development of the Left Behind DLC for The Last Of Us. Except this work, Escayg was working on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as well and then he played the main role during development of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy where he was a main writer and co-director.

After all these years in Naughty Dog, Shaun is leaving the studio. As he has just posted in his last Tweet, he was looking for new challenges so he accepted an offer from Crystal Dynamics where he is going to work on a new Avengers game. Despite the fact he’s leaving, he sent many thanks to all his fans and teammates from Naughty Dog and wished them much success in the following years.

The exact role of Shaun Escayg remains unknown though. Since a collaboration between Crystal Dynamics and Marvel Studio was announced about a year ago, we haven’t heard much about the Avengers game yet so we hope this step could bring us some info soon.
