UPDATE: The whole event was postponed one day later. Thus, you can await the downtime on Friday 01/12 but all the times are still the same.
Aren’t you planning to enjoy tomorrow’s evening next to your game machine in the presence of Destiny 2? We hope that you’re not but if you are, then we might have bad news for you.
What are we talking about? It won’t be possible to play a multiplayer game Destiny 2 from Bungie online starting at 5PM CET on 30th November. Players who will be online at that time will be only warned and will get one more hour to finish all their matches. But starting at 6PM CET, all the servers will be completely offline and players will be booted to the main menu.
The whole downtime will take place until 11PM CET which means it will last 6 hours! This makes it one of the longest Destiny downtime ever. The reason of that is just a basic maintenance of all the servers in order to keep their vital function.
But if it’s just a basic maintenance or if it’s going to be accompanied by changes in system, that’s something Bungie has not commented. However, it is possible that some of previously reported bugs will be fixed at that time including the XP gaining problem which we informed you about earlier.
Now, we just need to hope that everything will go well and tomorrow at 11PM, the servers will be online again as expected. So, see you in Destiny!
