The upcoming multiplayer action game Earthfall is going to be released already tomorrow. But shortly before its release, the developers decided to tell us a bit more about it because they accepted an invitation to the latest release of Inside Xbox.
The developers from Holospark have announced that once the upcoming game Earthfall is released, all the additional post-launch content would be available completely for free to all the players. Thus, we can look forward to trying new game modes, levels or other elements in the future. Reportedly, cosmetic items would be the only things that will cost real money but this in-game content does not influence the gameplay at all. Holospark states that it wants to be sure you only need to buy the game and then you will be able to play any game mode with all your friends without any separation until the end of the game’s lifetime.
By this action, the developers follow the current trend of trying to unite and to keep the players playing their games together instead of separating them based on purchased DLCs. The resulting higher activity of players then leads to much better profits than releasing paid expansions. Well, and in the end, we, players, can be happy the most.
Earthfall is being released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC tomorrow, on 13th July 2018.
