We are witnesses of many bugs appearing in the new titles, and we just watch and inform readers about funny and shameful situations which follow the players on every step while passing the game. I think we are a little bit conservative about patches because an earlier released game was playable and was expectable to await three patches at maximum which fixed very rare bugs. The evolution of technologies, time strenuousness, players' requirements and regularly well worked out titles requires significant care. It is impossible to do something without adequate time, so we get at some point unfinished titles to the hands and suggest a beta version. Try to remember a good example, Heroes VII from Ubisoft.
Sea of Thieves has been experiencing issues under the weigh of bugs since the beginning, and the developers are aware of the game needs which need to be polished. The most disastrous glitch is called AlmondBeard. Do you ask yourself a question what AlmondBeard is? It is a pirate roadhog, sorry pirate of the seas which steals from you and takes everything you have aboard. After the nine hours of playing with friends and sailing at sea with an enormous loot.
The glitch appears when you lose connection with Xbox Live or with the servers. Stability of servers is not Rare's strong point, and so AlmondBeard plays havoc aboard very often.
The user of Reddit and a player of Sea of Thieves Daphonic shared a story about his loot which he has lost during AlmondBeard wreaking. He was transferring 130 Chests, 15 Relics, 30 Skulls, 8 Teas, 5 Spices, 5 Silks, 2 Sugars. 3 Stronghold Chests. With a question mark describes...Is it a world record in transporting chests?
What would have been your reaction if you would have lost all of the things meant above? You would have been disappointed probably because play time would have shown 9 hours on the clock. Let's hope the developers will take care of this glitch and will compensate players who suffered psychological harm.
